Girl group Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy appeared on JTBC ‘Non Summit’ and talked about diet.
Seulgi and Wendy selected the discussion topic, which was “I want to eat limitless amount of my favorite food. Am I abnormal?”. The two confess their stress about weight control and talked about diet.
To the question about the most difficult food to resist, Seulgi chose spicy food and said, “because spicy foods make me bloat a lot, I can’t eat them if I have a schedule”. Wendy said, “I really like rice cakes. I even found a good rice cake shop where they have received the presidential prize”.
Each of ‘Non Summit’ members shared their countries’ food with high calories. A variety of high-calorie foods were introduced including France’s macaroons, Switzerland’s cheese fondue, Pakistan’s mithai, China’s moon cakes, Japan’s ramen, Italy’s calzone pizza, and Canada’s Poutine.
The members continued and talked about exotic diet methods including Mexico’s blood-type diet and Italy’s ice cream diet.
Seulgi and Wendy said at the end, “We learned that although diet methods may be different around the world, the way people worry about diet is the same. We also learned the ideal thinking of diet”.
